“The Inherent Nobility of Man” is a significant mural created by Carlisle Chang in 1961, commissioned for the Arrival Hall of the Piarco International Airport in Trinidad and Tobago. The mural, measuring 50 feet long and 15 feet high, was a reflection of the country’s spirit during its transition to independence.
It depicted the diverse cultural heritage of Trinidad and Tobago, symbolizing the successive waves of immigration and the struggles for self-realization and societal reinvention.
